I'm starting to become an old movie buff! I'm loving it. I'm going to try watching all Marilyn Monroe movies this week.

What are some of your favorite classic movies from way but whenever

And some of your favorite movies in present time. Comedies, horror, romance, whatevs.

BQ: Audrey Hepburn or Marilyn Monroe. Why?

:)

I love Barbara Stanwyck movies like Stella Dallas and Ball of fire and practically everything I ever saw her in. It Happened One Night and Bringing up Baby are two of my favorite comedies and also Hitchcock's movies and classic dramas like Wurthering Heights and From here to Eternity. for today I really enjoyed Despicable Me, Sherlock Holmes, Atonement, 500 Days of Summer… And as for Marilyn and Hepburn, why chose? they both made so few movies, it's best to enjoy them all. I particularly like A Nun's Story and Bus stop.

older flicks:
Gone with the wind
The fighting Sullivans
The song of Bernadette
Come to the stable
I confess
On the waterfront
The tender trap
Auntie Mame
Tiger Bay
The chalk garden
The trouble with angels

The railway children (1970)

current:
